SM Information & Resources

New Senior Members

Senior Members are required to come to three meetings prior to joining. We will meet with you to discuss the obligations of a Senior Member and what role you might like to take in the Civil Air Patrol. We will also help with the paperwork you need and help you find a location to complete the fingerprinting process.

Click here for information on how to join CAP as a Senior Member.

After National Headquarters approves your application, you will receive your CAP ID and you then register on eServices and start your training.

Uniform requirements differ from those of cadets, so be sure to note those details.

Getting Started

Civil Air Patrol Websites

  • CAP eServices is the members-only site that gives access to training, promotion/awards tracking, operations qualifications information, etc.

  • gocivilairpatrol.com is the public site that contains all of the general information about CAP as well as publications (regulations, pamphlets, manuals, etc.). No login is needed, but it is important to know its distinction from eServices.
